• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and care
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring clinicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring any malfunctions are reported without delay
• Document all procedures accurately and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and practices in ultrasound imaging

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Candidacy from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is desirable
