We're on the hunt for an incredible Bar Manager to lead the team at Ms. Alice, our cocktail bar in the heart of NYC's Lower East Side, on the corner of Rivington & Allen.
Ms. Alice is part of Parched Hospitality Group , an Australian-owned hospitality group based in NYC, and we've got some pretty big ambitions for this little corner of Manhattan.
Our goal? To become one of the World's 50 Best Bars.
We've got an incredible space, an awesome team, and a whole lot of potential. Every day, we're working to create something special: exceptional hospitality, thoughtful and innovative (and seriously kick-ass) cocktails, and an atmosphere that makes people want to stay for one more drink, whether they're stopping by at 2PM or hanging with us at 2AM.
Now we're looking for the right person to help take us there.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who genuinely loves hospitality. Someone who understands that a great bar isn't just about what's in the glass — it's about the people, the energy, the music, the atmosphere, and the way you make every guest feel.
We want a leader who:
- Really knows their stuff behind the bar. Spirits, wine, beer, mixology, bar setup, equipment, service flow, operations — you understand what makes a bar run brilliantly, and you're confident jumping behind the stick to show the team how it's done.
- Loves people. You bring great energy to the floor, connect naturally with guests, and know how to turn first-time visitors into regulars.
- Is a natural teacher and coach. You love sharing knowledge, developing talent, and helping your team become the best versions of themselves.
- Knows how to create an incredible vibe. You understand the little details that make a bar feel special, and you know how to keep that energy going throughout service.
- Can turn things around when they go wrong. You're calm under pressure, great at guest recovery, and know how to transform a disappointing experience into a memorable one.
- Leads from the floor, not just the office. You're hands-on, hardworking, organized, and happy to roll up your sleeves alongside your team.
- Has big ambitions. You love the industry, stay curious, keep learning, and get genuinely excited about the idea of building a bar that becomes a destination in the NYC cocktail scene.
