This role will lead our dining services team of 16,000 chefs and associates, delivering world‑class meals in corporate cafes, executive dining rooms, on‑site catering, and vending innovations. Job Summary The Director of Dining Services is an energetic, entrepreneurial leader available to drive operational excellence. The director is directly responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of Dining Services, ensuring client satisfaction, cost‑effective management, and compliance with food service standards. Key Responsibilities Manage salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department Oversee overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account Interview, hire, train, and evaluate associates; assign and direct work; implement reward and discipline; resolve complaints Prepare and manage annual budget Utilize company systems for daily/weekly/monthly reporting (inventory, cash, production, payroll, etc.) Supervise preparation and service of food and beverage items in compliance with company food standards, HACCP, OSHA, and portion control guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. degree plus four years of directly related experience Five to seven years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation Prior P&L accountability or contract‑managed service experience desirable Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels Financial, budgeting, accounting, and computational proficiency Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet) ServSafe® certification Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Life Insurance / AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Time Off, Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Paid Parental Leave Personal Leave Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
