Physical Therapist

Position: Physical Therapist Salary Range: $44.80 - $49.23 per hour Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (No weekend rotation) Location: Skilled nursing facility with mix of short term and long term care patients Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine their physical therapy needs Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients improve their mobility, reduce pain, and increase strength and endurance Utilize a variety of techniques, such as exercise, massage, and manual therapy, to help patients achieve their treatment goals Monitor and document patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercises to promote independence and long-term wellness Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care for patients Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in physical therapy and participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care to patients CPR certification is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
