Technical SupervisorJob Functions:Conducting pre-shift meetingAssembly's process of finished productsDeployment of personnel on linesGuidance and leadership to personnel and motivation of Associates to reachBasic proficiency of every position on the lineOther duties as assignedNothing in the Position Description restricts management's right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time For Fuyao Group South Carolina:Assist the manager with the plant's paperwork, logistics, and customer service on an as needed basisShipping& Receiving • Knowledge of Fuyao products and PLEX system • Knowledge of shipping and receiving process • Communication with FGA planners and customers • Directing forklift driversTraining •Production work instruction knowledge • Knowledge of human resources and attendance system •Train new employees to follow work instructionsInventory • Daily confirmation of empty BMW racks delivered • Monthly empty rack inventory • Monthly material inventory • Maintenance of material warehouse productCustomer service • Communications with customers via email, phone, in person about meetings, audits, shipping/receiving, racks, carriers • Trips to BMW, Volvo, InalfaHuman Resources • Communicating employee issues/concerns to FGA HR • Assisting Dayton HR with employee information, paperwork, communicationsInvoices • Knowledge of all FGA services • Knowledge of billing methods • Communications with FGA accounting • Organization to avoid late paymentsCommunicating with 3rd Party Services • Communicating with contractors about work that needs to be done in the facility i.e. lawn care, fire extinguisher examinations, water testing • Connecting contractors to FGABookkeeping • Organization of all shipping and receiving paperwork, invoices, employee information etc.Cleaning • Sometimes bathrooms, break room, and conference room need cleaning • Done on an as needed basisOther duties as assignedNothing in the Position Description restricts management's right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any timeQualifications:Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods.Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)Visual acuity including, but not limited to:a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.e.
