Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Medical Surgical/Telemetry Nurse Opportunity

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, EKGs, and responses to treatments.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• BLS certification required.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
