MILITARY PERSONNEL AND MANPOWER SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: To assist the Commander in analyzing, planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling programs, activities and operations primarily specific to the military personnel and alternately to civilian personnel assigned to AF/SE and Headquarters Air Force Safety Center (HQ AFSEC). - Serves as AF/SE and HQ AFSEC Military Personnel Program Administrator and plans all aspects of special military personnel programs.
- Analyzes plans, organizes, coordinates, directs, programs and controls programs, activities and operations specific to the military personnel assigned to AF/SE and HQ AFSEC and administers special personnel programs and their interrelationships with other programs.
- Conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses of program provisions and operations; compiles statistical data; and maintains documentation relating to control of resources of AF/SE and HQ AFSEC.
- Performs Duties as Human Resource Liaison: Employee is responsible for developing local administrative guidelines, regulations and instructions for the conduct of assigned programs.
- The Area of Consideration is limited to Air Force Safety Center ORG/UNIT: Air Force Internal personnel only.

- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
- Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft/vehicle to conferences, meetings, or functions away from the duty office/location. Travel may include overnight stays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
