Patient Registration Specialist

Location: Albuquerque, NM (Onsite) Position Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire 2 Schedules Available!:

• Monday-Thursday 9AM - 6PM, Friday 8am - 5pm. (8-9 Required Pre Scheduled Saturdays a year (with a day off during the week).
• Tuesday-Thursday 9:15am - 6:15pm, Friday 12pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am-6pm (Sunday's/Monday's Off)

Pay: $15.75/hour (non-bilingual) | $16.75/hour (bilingual English/Spanish)

LHH is seeking a reliable and detail-driven Patient Registration Specialist to support one of our healthcare clients in the Albuquerque area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are committed to delivering exceptional patient service.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Welcome and check in patients for appointments and hospital admissions
• Accurately verify insurance details and secure necessary authorizations
• Update and maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare standards
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently
• Collect co-pays and process billing information with accuracy
• Partner with clinical and administrative staff to support seamless patient experiences

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience in patient access, registration, or front desk roles in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems like Epic or Cerner is a plus
• Ability to manage sensitive patient information with professionalism and discretion
• High school diploma or GED required; additional training in healthcare administration is a bonus

Pay Details: $15.75 to $16.75 per hour
