Receiving Associate

Overview

• Unload and receive incoming freight, boxes, and materials from
• delivery trucks.
• Verify contents by comparing packing slips and invoices to original
• purchase orders.
• Inspect items for defects, missing parts, or shipping damage.
• Update inventory records using computer databases or radio-
• frequency (RF) scanners.
• Organize and store goods in designated warehouse or stockroom
• locations.

Skills and Experience

Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
Receiving, stocking, and stacking
Pulling, packing, and loading
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team
Technical skills: Basic math, computer literacy, and experience
operating a forklift or pallet jack.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
2 years logistics experience preferred
Forklift Certification a plus
