Description:

This position supports a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level II NICU. It is a teaching facility with a Magnet designation and a Primary Stroke Center. The unit typically manages approximately 50 patients per shift. Patient types include inpatient and outpatient general CT and vascular patients. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. General and vascular CT experience is necessary. All required certifications must be current. Support on the unit will include a supervisor. The charting system used is EPIC. There is no floating requirement for this position. Weekend rotations are required, alternating weekends. 2-3 on-call shifts may be required per month. No holiday expectations are outlined. Scrub color required for this position is Caribbean Blue. Preferred candidates should have level 1 or level 2 trauma experience.
