We are looking for a Certified Surgical Tech to join our amazing team at Duly - Westmont ASC! Great benefits and competitive pay. $5,000 sign-on bonus. JOB TITLE Certified Surgical Technologist SCHEDULE Monday through Friday. Hours may vary depending on cases, but typical shifts are 0630-1500 Salary Range: $28.00 - $39.25 per hour, based on skill and experience level. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Physician and/or Registered Nurse General Summary Of Duties Surgical technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses. Education/Experience/Requirements A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program. 1 year of surgical tech experience BLS certification Essential Functions Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures. Before an operation, surgical technologists elp prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
