Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Marketplace Strategic Initiatives leads strategic pricing, site, and marketing initiatives for Walmart Marketplace’s Entertainment, Toys, and Seasonal Division. This role focuses on ensuring competitive positioning and optimized traffic for third-party sellers. Collaborating across divisions and functions, the team drives business process improvements and leverages data analytics to enhance customer experience. About the team:

The Marketplace Strategic Initiatives, Entertainment Toys and Seasonal (ETS) division, team leads the development and execution of strategic projects to enhance marketplace performance and drive business growth. This team is focused on analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions. The team is known for its strong expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making to support organizational goals. By aligning strategies with market trends and operational priorities, the team ensures effective execution of initiatives that optimize category performance and deliver measurable business impact.

What you'll do:

• Define and implement strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals to enhance marketplace performance.

• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency and revenue generation.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to drive project execution and resolve challenges.

• Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making, forecast trends, and measure initiative outcomes.

• Manage project plans, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

• Communicate complex information clearly to influence leadership and support strategic business decisions.

• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for business growth.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in business process improvement and strategic decision-making to drive organizational goals.

• Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk tracking, and progress reporting.

• Ability to analyze data and leverage analytics tools to inform marketplace strategies and business cases.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
