Patent Prosecution Paralegal

Midwest Market Director | Legal Staffing at Adams & Martin Group Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to join a busy law firm in Downtown Minneapolis. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid work model initially, with the potential to transition to fully remote after successful onboarding. Responsibilities include: Preparing and filing U.S. and international patent applications. Managing docketing and tracking deadlines. Drafting and filing responses, assignments, declarations, and other patent-related documents. Coordinating with foreign associates for international filings. Conducting prior art searches and preparing disclosure submissions. Maintaining patent portfolios and generating client reports. Communicating with clients, inventors, and patent offices. Reviewing and processing official correspondence from patent offices. Performing additional IP-related support tasks as assigned. Qualifications: 3+ years of patent prosecution experience, preferably in a law firm. Paralegal certificate or degree in Legal/Paralegal Studies (preferred). Strong knowledge of USPTO and international filing procedures. Experience with docketing software (e.g., CPI, Anaqua) and legal research tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IP management platforms. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong commitment to client service and confidentiality.
