About the Role

The successful candidate will be the scientific bridge between the discovery engine and clinical programs, owning the strategy and execution that translates preclinical assets to IND-enabling studies and into first-in-human trials. This foundational hire will be responsible for the translational development strategy, supporting biomarker strategies, and ensuring scientific rigor in preclinical-to-clinical bridging. The role demands a hands-on leader with a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in a relevant field, at least 12 years of experience in translational oncology drug development, and a proven track record of advancing programs from preclinical to clinical stages. Applicants for the VP of Translational Sciences position at the company should be deeply familiar with IND-enabling studies, possess strong scientific writing skills, and have the ability to work at the bench-to-bedside interface in a fast-paced, small team.
