We are looking for a candidate with the desire to develop skills through on-the-job experience and continued education to advance in the design profession.ResponsibilitiesMust be willing to work in a collaborative and team environment.Must possess strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.Must possess strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills.Knowledge of Microsoft productsAbility to perform design related math functionsAbility to read and interpret written instructions and drawings (blueprints)Firm understanding of Design Standards, Manufacturing Processes and Military Specifications including GD&TQualificationsRequired:High School diploma/GED or Vocational High School diploma2-6 years of design experienceExperience reading and interpreting blueprints drawingsDemonstrated proficiency in drafting (portfolio) with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required (NX preferred)Preferred:Two year Technical School/CollegeExperience with mechanical systemsExperience with CATIA and/or NXExperience in Design for Six Sigma, Lean Design/Manufacturing
