Job Purpose:  

Are you a skilled food services professional looking for an exciting new challenge? Our long-term care facility is seeking a Certified Food Services Manager to lead the Dietary Department with precision and expertise. In this position, you'll be responsible for maintaining the Dietary Department in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner and providing nutritionally adequate meals in accordance with regulatory guidelines. 

Responsibilities:  

As the Certified Food Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your key responsibilities will include: 

- Designing and organizing weekly menus for our community 

- Ensuring strict compliance with federal, state, and local sanitation regulations 

- Conducting meticulous safety inspections of various areas and promptly addressing any concerns 

- Overseeing food quality, presentation, and environmental standards 

- Managing food and supply expenses within budgetary guidelines 

- Coordinating food and supply orders with authorized vendors 

- Providing insightful reports and recommendations to the General Manager 

- Ensuring the kitchen maintains superior cleanliness and safety standards 

- Supporting community sales efforts by providing catering services for various events 

Requirements:  

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: 

- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential 

- Strong working knowledge of food safety regulations 

- Previous experience in a long-term care facility 

- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset
