Purpose of Position The Talent Development Specialist partners closely with the Talent Development Manager to drive the successful execution of talent, leadership, organizational effectiveness, and workforce initiatives across the organization. This role serves as the operational engine behind key talent strategies, ensuring programs, projects, and processes are delivered with excellence, consistency, and measurable impact. Success in this role requires the ability to organize complex bodies of work, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, create scalable tools and processes, and influence stakeholders to drive progress and results.

Tasks and Responsibilities Talent Development & Leadership Programs Coordinate and support the design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership development programs and talent initiatives. Facilitate development experiences that build critical leadership and business capabilities. Support career development, internal mobility, and employee growth initiatives. Assist in the creation of learning resources, toolkits, and development materials. Partner with leaders and HR teams to ensure adoption and effectiveness of development programs.

Succession Planning & Talent Management Track succession readiness, development activities, and talent outcomes. Support identification and development of high-potential talent. Maintain talent assessment tools, documentation, and reporting. Monitor progress against talent development and succession objectives.

Organizational Effectiveness Develop tools, templates, and resources that improve organizational processes and effectiveness. Assist with organizational assessments, data gathering, and analysis. Support change management activities associated with business and talent initiatives. Coordinate action plans and follow-up activities resulting from organizational effectiveness reviews.

Project & Program Management Lead project management activities for talent and organizational effectiveness initiatives. Develop project plans, timelines, communication plans, and implementation strategies. Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

Workforce Planning & Talent Analytics Partner with HRIS to collect, analyze, and interpret talent and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Partner with HRIS to develop dashboards and reports related to employee engagement, internal mobility, turnover, retention, succession readiness, and leadership development. Partner with HRIS to generate insights and recommendations that support workforce planning and talent decision-making.

Employee Engagement & Experience Support employee engagement initiatives and action planning efforts. Partner with HRIS to analyze employee feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience. Assist leaders in implementing development plans and engagement strategies.

Education Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field Certifications and Licenses Years of Experience 2-4 years of experience Core Competencies Adaptability Collaboration Curiosity Service-Oriented Strives For Positive Results Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs) Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing projects and coordinating complex initiatives. Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills. Experience creating processes, resources, and tools that improve operational effectiveness. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, reporting tools, and project management methodologies. Preferred experience in Organizational Effectiveness or HR Business Partner environments. Preferred experience supporting change management initiatives. Preferred experience with employee engagement programs and talent analytics. Professional certifications related to talent development, project management, organizational development, change management, or coaching.
