Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Position
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary and middle school students with speech and language needs near Dover, NH. This full-time opportunity, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 2027, is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful difference in young lives across grades 3-5 and middle school.
As the primary SLP for this assignment, you'll enjoy a balanced weekday schedule of 35-37.5 hours. While full-time availability is preferred, experienced part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply. This is a fantastic chance to build rapport with students and staff, and put your expertise to work in an educational setting that truly values your knowledge and dedication.
Your qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC credential
- Previous experience working in elementary and/or middle schools
- Familiarity with school-based evaluation and therapy practices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Delivering speech and language therapy to students in grades 3-5 and at the middle school level
- Providing progress updates to staff, teachers, and families
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
