If that resonates with you, we would like to speak to you.***Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist - Riverside Walter Reed Hospital- Gloucester, Virginia - Labor PoolRiverside Medical Group is seeking a Labor Pool **dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)** to join our **Hospitalist team**. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver **high-quality, patient-centered care** to hospitalized adults.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide direct inpatient care in collaboration with Hospitalist physicians.* Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations.* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.* Perform procedures as credentialed and trained (e.g., central lines, intubation, etc.).* Participate in daily rounds, care coordination, and discharge planning.* Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR.* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.* Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.**Qualifications:*** **Education:** + Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. + Current board certification as an NP or PA.* **Licensure:** + Active and unrestricted license to practice as an NP or PA in the **Commonwealth of Virginia**. + DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Virginia.* **Experience:** + Prior inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred but not required. + New graduates with strong clinical rotations in acute care are encouraged to apply.* **Skills:** + Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. + Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).**Highlights*** Full and Part Time Opportunities, with flexible schedules* Competitive base pay with incentive bonuses* Value Based Performance Incentive* Sign on Bonus Eligible* Loan Repayment Eligible (Riverside Health is a 501(c)3 non-profit)* Comprehensive Health Benefits and Retirement Package* Physician Time Off* Malpractice Coverage* CME Allowance* **Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
