The Endocrinology Division is on the lookout for an exceptional individual to fill the role of Assistant or Associate Professor within the Academic Clinician track at our medical school. Ideal candidates will showcase exemplary abilities in patient care and clinical education, and must fulfill the criteria for clinical privileges at our affiliated hospital. This facility is part of a larger health system that encompasses five hospitals across Connecticut and Rhode Island, along with our medical practice and a regional medical group. Together, this network handles over 3.6 million outpatient visits and more than 150,000 inpatient discharges annually, offering a rich and varied patient population.

Successful candidates will possess comprehensive experience in clinical endocrinology, a desire to cultivate a strong inpatient and outpatient practice, and enthusiasm for working in an educational setting. Over time, academic clinicians are expected to establish specialized areas of expertise and gain recognition both regionally and nationally in their chosen fields. Current focal areas include diabetes and obesity, bone and mineral metabolism, lipid disorders, and endocrine tumors. The position also includes dedicated time for academic growth.

Requirements:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Completion of an Endocrinology fellowship from an ACGME-accredited program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- M.D. or D.O. degree
