Job Details Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown / PCU Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: October 5, 2026 Duration: 16 weeks Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, days and nights Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Unit Setting: Acute leukemia and hematology stepdown care Charting System: Epic Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Job Requirements Active RN license in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of total acute care nursing experience At least 1 year of PCU / stepdown nursing experience Current acute care experience required within the last 12 months BLS and ACLS required Epic charting experience required Travel nursing experience preferred Strong telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills Ability to work rotating day and night schedules Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality stepdown nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex hematology and oncology needs Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias promptly and accurately Administer blood products, IV therapy, electrolytes, and IV antibiotics Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral IVs, and port access as needed Support infection prevention and patient fall prevention initiatives Collaborate with rapid response teams and interdisciplinary support services Maintain safe, efficient care in a busy 24-bed acute care unit with changing patient needs Document thoroughly in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team Apply now for this Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse travel opportunity in Columbus, Ohio, and take the next step in your acute care nursing career.
