The Field Operations Manager’s primary objective is to provide safe, effective solutions to the customer in the most efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. This position will play a key role in fulfilling promises to their customers and in meeting those customers’ expectations. They are responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all warehouse, and maintenance services within the organization to deliver on customer requirements, particularly regarding production chemicals. This includes managing budgets, organizing schedules & warehouse ensuring that vehicles & equipment are safe, and meet legal requirements, as well as making sure that specialists are aware of their duties.TechnicalDirecting all warehouse and maintenance activitiesManaging monthly OPEXAllocating and recording resources and movementsAccount managementWorking with MRP for inventory managementEnsuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operationsCommunicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirementsCollaborate in cross-functional projects within SLB/ChampionX, promoting the transfer of knowledge as well as the delivery of innovative processes and programsDemonstrate flexibility by being able to adapt to constant shift in customers’ priorities due to the nature of the business and competitive environmentLeadershipManaging 10-15 employees, on multiple shiftsEnsure the safety, security and training of all employeesProactively audit warehouse specialists and mechanics to ensure they have learned and incorporated safe practices while conducting field workLead and shape team moral (employee satisfaction within team) and work with management to address any issuesDemonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to articulate a vision for the direction of the groupBasic/Minimum Qualifications:5 years of experience working in Oil & Gas Services Industry3 years of experience working in a supervisory roleMust be willing/able to make field visits (10%)Experience with SAPHigh computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy and self-motivationPrior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skillsGood negotiation and problem resolution skillsMust have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordNo immigration sponsorship offered for this role (US Only)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology)Knowledge of warehouse optimizationEffective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with attention to fine detailExperience with SAP10 years of experience working in Oil & Gas Services IndustryCSCP Certification, Lean Six Sigma CertificationAbout ChampionXChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
