Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriateness and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and inventory.
• Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
• Doctoral Degree
• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy
• Specialty Board Certification
• Pharmacist license in the state of practice
