Quick Facts Location: Loveland, CO (Multiple facilities in Colorado Springs, CO) Start Date: 01/01/2027 Duration: Ongoing, 30 shifts/month maximum Shift: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a) Hours/Week: Varies based on shifts Employment Type: Locum, Contract position Licenses/Certifications: Colorado medical license required Experience: Recent level I trauma experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (per applicable laws) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide inpatient pulmonary care in high-acuity trauma centers Manage ventilation including invasive and non-invasive techniques Perform bronchoscopies and diagnostic procedures, including bronchial alveolar lavage Insert chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, and perform thoracentesis Participate in critical care procedures for cardiac, respiratory, and multisystem failure Support ICU patients with complex medical needs such as sepsis, drowning, and poisoning Collaborate with onsite pulmonologists and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes What You Need Required: Colorado medical license or eligible for licensure Recent experience in level I trauma settings Proficiency with pulmonary procedures: ventilation management, intubation, bronchoscopies, chest tube insertion, central line placement Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day and night) Familiarity with EPIC EMR system Preferred: Additional experience in critical care procedures such as PA catheter placement, dialysis catheter insertion Experience working in high-volume, trauma-focused environments About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Loveland, CO, providing inpatient pulmonary and critical care across Level I, II, and III trauma centers. This locum role involves staffing a variety of shifts at multiple facilities, with a cap of 7 consecutive days per location to promote work-life balance. Clinical responsibilities include managing critical respiratory and systemic conditions, supporting trauma patients, and performing advanced pulmonary procedures. The facility is well-equipped with onsite labs and x-ray resources, ensuring high-quality patient care. EMR training is mandatory before start date.
