Job Description Job Description Location: 100% Onsite Pay Rate: $23/h Duration: 3 Months About the Role American Airlines is seeking a Recruiter to support their Operations Talent Acquisition team and help ensure airport roles are staffed for operational readiness. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner with hiring leaders, execute strategic staffing plans, support high-volume hiring initiatives, and travel to hiring events where on-the-spot offers are often made. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for airport and operations-focused roles Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities Conduct detailed intake sessions to align on role requirements and expectations Source talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and networking strategies Travel to domestic hiring events multiple times per month, including occasional weekends Guide hiring managers on behavioral interviewing and best hiring practices Facilitate the selection process while ensuring legal and effective interviewing standards Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle Track and report on recruiting metrics, SLAs, and KPIs Maintain accurate applicant records within SuccessFactors or enterprise ATS systems Collaborate with vendors, legal, labor teams, and recruiting stakeholders Participate in recurring business meetings to discuss hiring strategy and operational updates Required Qualifications 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience Experience with high-volume recruiting environments Strong experience with recruiting metrics, SLAs, and KPIs Experience sourcing niche talent using LinkedIn Recruiter Experience with SuccessFactors or enterprise ATS systems (Taleo, iCIMS, etc.) Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment Airline industry experience strongly preferred Experience organizing or supporting hiring events is a plus
