HVAC TechReports to: Facilities Supervisor FLSA: Non-Exempt Supervises: N/A Department: Facilities Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.00Position Mission The HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the maintenance and service of restaurant kitchen equipment, including beverage systems, boilers, ice machines, freezers and HVAC work. Maintenance duties include the installation, service and repair of equipment. A company vehicle will be provided to ensure you are well equipped for the job.Responsibilities Include: • Performs complex repairs on commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment. • Manage installation, repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. • Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions. • Provides preventative maintenance activities. • Maintains safe, clean and organized work area to include work vehicle, tools, manuals and parts. • Uses various hand and power tools appropriately. • Completes other repairs as needed. • Deals with interruptions and successfully manages multiple tasks. • Adheres to all company policies and procedures. • Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company's values and standards. • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record • 3+ years of experience in HVAC/Refrigeration is a must. • Must own your own tools. • Experience working in HVAC/Refrigeration in the restaurant industry preferred. • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment is a plus. • EPA Certification Type II or better required. • Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule as dictated by the needs of the business • Must be able to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment with many interruptions.
