Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each client receives outstanding and exceptional customer service by providing a welcoming and inviting environment. This includes: greeting and engaging with every customer, maintaining outstanding standards (from customer service and experience to visual merchandising), learning and sharing brand-specific product knowledge, etc.
• Having an adaptable and inquisitive approach with customers to connect and learn more them about their needs
• Strong ability to learn, understand, and share brand-specific product knowledge
• Assisting customers navigate the store space
• Assist ringing up sales at POS
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, replenishment standards, etc.
• Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store’s cleanliness and presentation standards
• Partner with Management (and various teams) to help support and participate in in-store events, activations, and promotions
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect
• Consistently achieve and/or exceed the sales goals (weekly and monthly), as directed and supported by management
• Appropriately resolve client issues/concerns and escalate as needed to Management Team
• Being able to represent and speak to the brand about our products, values, mission, etc
• Organizational excellence
• Having an inquisitive approach with customers to connect and learn more about their needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles, including sales, cashier, or other customer-facing positions
• Experience in the cosmetics, beauty, or K-beauty industry is a plus
• Strong interest/passion and understanding of K-beauty and skincare products
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
• Ability to assess customers’ needs and curate the customer experience
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays as required
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week; full-time availability is not required.
• Ability to work extended periods of time (a minimum of 4 hours) standing or walking
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced/high-volume retail store environment
• Technology savvy
• Proactiveness with the ability to be a team-player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is a plus, especially experience in K-beauty or cosmetics retail
• Positive, friendly, and customer-oriented mindset
• Fluency in multiple foreign languages is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision
• POS experience (Shopify) is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms for product display, inventory movement, and customer engagement.

Employees may occasionally be required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must be able to lift and/or move product boxes or inventory weighing up to 45 pounds (approximately 20 kilograms).
