Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU - $2,451 per week

Job Overview American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist – NICU for a travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and availability for mandatory weekend nights. Assignment Details Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 3x12 hour nights (19:00–07:30) Location: NICU at a children's hospital, float to PICU, Pediatric Acute Care, and Labor & Delivery as needed Requirements Current Indiana or Compact RRT license Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP; PALS preferred Minimum 2 years NICU experience Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years mandatory; Level 1 adult facility experience may be considered NICU or PICU experience required L&D experience required Cerner EMR experience required Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA 2 supervisor references, SSN and DOB required Additional Information First‑time travelers welcome Indiana residents accepted Must be comfortable working every weekend Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto‑approved Former permanent or PRN employees must have been away for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler Travelers with 12 months of travel employment in this health system must take a consecutive break before resetting eligibility (90 days for out‑of‑state, 180 days for in‑state) AHA and RQI certifications accepted and must be current Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate Compensation and Benefits Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
