Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in medical/surgical care - Knowledge of pain management - Proficient in proactive rounding and bedside hand-off Description: Provide care to medical/surgical adult inpatients, including orthopedic and neuro-surgical patients, as well as level 1 trauma patients. Priorities include zero harm, patient safety, and quality care. Enhance the patient experience through effective pain management strategies. Conduct proactive rounding to ensure patient needs are met. Perform bedside hand-offs to maintain continuity of care. Work on a 24-bed unit with surveillance and telemetry monitoring using advanced technology. Care for orthopedic, non-acute stroke, and trauma patients. Provide age-friendly care in a designated patient-friendly environment.
