Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required, preferably within one location License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: MUST have 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. MUST have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. MUST have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry position. The position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The nurse may float to other units caring for the same patient population. The successful candidate must have a total of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applied for. The experience can include travel assignments but must total 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. The applicant must have an active permanent Ohio license or a compact state license. All required certifications must be current with no pending items. The nurse will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both. It is necessary to work every other holiday. Please ensure references provided are from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty. A background check will be conducted, and any open cases will result in disqualification. A negative drug screen is required, including nicotine testing. Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months, after which a break is needed.
