Molecular Sales Account Executive (Columbus, OH)

Abbott seeks a Molecular Sales Account Executive to drive diagnostic product sales across Ohio's healthcare facilities. This remote position requires closing new business and expanding existing accounts while managing complex sales cycles with hospital systems, reference labs, and clinical offices.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across Ohio territory to drive market share growth
- Engage multiple stakeholders including C-suite to close complex capital equipment sales
- Develop and implement best practices leveraging customer insights to exceed revenue targets
- Manage long-term sales cycles and renewal processes to retain non-enterprise accounts
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Manager on large hospital system opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years sales experience with proven territory growth and plan achievement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM systems
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 80%
- Strategic sales expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Preferred: diagnostics or laboratory sales background
- Preferred: 2+ years capital equipment sales experience
Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
