Sr. FP&A Analyst

Job Overview Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Financial Planning, you will provide timely analysis and deliverables to support Par Pacific's forecasting and business planning process. The Senior FP&A Analyst role involves detailed financial analysis of Par Pacific and its subsidiaries, as well as support for M&A and business development opportunities. Responsibilities Assist in organizing and facilitating monthly forecasting and annual budget processes. Maintain and publish financial forecasting models for Par Pacific and its subsidiaries. Analyze and communicate financial results & forecasts to executives and senior management. Create PowerPoint presentations outlining financial results and forecasts for management, the Board of Directors, and the public market. Provide analytical support to business initiatives and strategic decisions, including M&A opportunities. Perform weekly ad hoc financial analysis for executives and senior management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (advanced degree or CPA preferred). 2-5 years of experience in a financial modeling environment such as banking, corporate finance, consulting or the Big 4. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of fundamental finance and accounting concepts. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Team player, flexible, and willing to pitch in within a small team. Professionalism and comfort presenting to executive leadership. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship. Location Based at Par Pacific's headquarters in Houston, Texas.
