Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Certification in area of specialty upon hire, unless otherwise indicated.

Job Description:
This posting is for 2 openings of an Acute Care RN - Med Surg at our Medical Center in Western Montana. Work status and shifts available include Per Diem/On Call Variable and Part Time Day shift. Providence is offering up to a $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment, in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered starting on the first day of employment.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. The role is accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. This role practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Key functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific onboarding checklist and in standards applicable to the specialty.
