LTC RN - Long Term Care Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day and night shifts available; 4x12 hour or 3x12 hour shifts depending on traveler's choice and facility needs. Must be willing to work two out of three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).

We are seeking an experienced Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licensure and certifications, specifically targeting those with proven travel experience in LTC.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a long-term care facility.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
Assist with daily activities and personal care for residents.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current registered nurse (RN) license in Alaska.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience in long-term care.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
All caregivers must obtain Alaska Food Worker Certification during orientation. A fee of $10 applies.
