An established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Senior or Tax Supervisor to join its growing tax team. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, reviewing tax engagements, researching complex tax matters, and providing proactive tax planning and advisory services.

You'll work with a diverse client base of individuals and businesses while collaborating with firm leadership in a supportive environment that values professional growth, technical excellence, and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns.

• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide coaching and guidance.

• Advise individual and business clients on tax planning opportunities and compliance matters.

• Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.

• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and planning strategies.

• Ensure engagements are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Mentor and support junior team members.

• Maintain high standards of client service and technical quality.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) tax seasons in a public accounting firm.

• At least two (2) years of experience serving strictly as a tax reviewer in public accounting.

• Private industry or corporate tax experience alone will not be considered.

• Currently working toward an EA or CPA designation.

• Demonstrated experience advising both individual and business tax clients.

• Proven ability to research and resolve complex tax issues.

• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.

Location Requirements

Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of Bethlehem, PA.

Be able and willing to commute to the office at least 3 days per week, regardless of remote work preferences.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000, based on experience and qualifications.
