The Senior Estimator in the property industry will play a vital role in leading the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring budgets and timelines are met with precision. Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate budget development. Analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project needs. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends and pricing. Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs without compromising quality. Monitor and adjust estimates throughout the project lifecycle to align with changes or unforeseen conditions. Prepare and present estimation reports to stakeholders for approval and decision-making.
