Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications, including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate, as required.
• Assist with vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, including circulating in the operating room.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and contractions using electronic fetal monitoring.
• Offer postpartum care and support to mothers and newborns.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered California RN license.
• Certification in AHA ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years Labor and Delivery RN experience (1 year recent).
• Proficient in Epic charting system.
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
