Job Title: Operator 1, Manufacturing Job Description

Join our Assembly Department as an Operator, where you will play a crucial role in operating processing and packaging equipment to ensure high-quality production standards are met. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to engage in various manufacturing processes.

• Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other machinery.
• Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using a computer interface to ensure correct materials and quantities are used.
• Calibrate and operate both semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
• Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
• Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain equipment and lab cleanliness to ensure optimal operating conditions.
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Receive general instruction for routine work and detailed instruction for new assignments.
• Address recurring work situations with occasional variations, requiring analysis of identifiable factors.

• Experience in assembly and packaging within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate processing and packaging equipment.
• Proficiency in performing in-process sampling and testing.
• Strong adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

• Experience in maintaining quality records and compliance with GMPs.
• Capability to maintain equipment and cleanliness in a lab setting.
• Judgment and decision-making skills within defined procedures.

This is a long-term contract position with the potential to transition to a direct hire after 90 days, offering stability and growth opportunities within the company.

The role involves operating various processing and packaging equipment in a manufacturing setting. Employees are expected to follow all safety practices and standard operating procedures. The work environment is dynamic, with routine and new assignments requiring attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EUGENE, OR.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
