City of Hot Springs, Arkansas is currently accepting applications for Police Officer. Applicants must be at least 20 years of age, meet all qualifications, and pass all pre-employment screenings. Current entry level salary is $52,956. Physical ability test will be administered Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 8:00 AM at DeSoto Park located at 1700 Park Ave, with written examination to follow. $10,000 Sign on bonus for Certified Officers and $5,000 Sign on bonus for non-certified hires after 6 months of employment. The City of Hot Springs is an EEO employer. *A person being twenty (20) years of age, and otherwise possessing the qualifications established under State law and this Commission, may be employed by the Hot Springs Police Department for the purposes of attending a basic law enforcement training academy. To that end, such a person being twenty (20) years of age shall be eligible to apply, test, interview, and be ranked within the Commissions eligibility list(s) for hire.
