This role is executed in a remote setting, allowing for maximum flexibility as you work from the comfort of your home. Our structured work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insights into each client's background and experiences, which will inform their individualized treatment plans.

• Implement tailored, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address various mental health disorders, adjusting techniques based on cultural and personal factors relevant to each patient.

• Provide engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions, fostering resilience and well-being among patients while promoting a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care that meets all of the client's mental health needs.

• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients have access to immediate care and guidance as required.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards to maintain confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to discussions on patient care, treatment strategies, and continual cultural competency training.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy to provide the highest level of care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, coupled with a commitment to cultural competence.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive techniques and an inclusive approach.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with diverse individuals and communities.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications is required.

• A strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
