Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) - 1099 Contractor

Texas Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults, supporting clients in developing the skills needed to function successfully in their everyday environments. This position is ideal for professionals who are self-motivated, organized, and confident working independently in the field while maintaining strong communication with a collaborative care team. What You’ll Do: Provide skills training and case management services to children, adolescents, and adults Deliver services in community settings, including client homes, schools, and other natural environments Support clients in building coping skills, independence, and emotional regulation Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, etc.) Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral or mental health Eligible for or currently holds QMHP certification (preferred) Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Reliable transportation required Availability for evening hours (typically 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) Weekend availability based on client needs Non‑Negotiables To ensure quality care and accountability, the following expectations are required: Timely and accurate documentation for all services Consistent communication with leadership and team members Ability to manage tasks and caseload responsibilities independently Adherence to Medicaid guidelines and agency policies Willingness to seek clarification when needed rather than making assumptions Compensation & Growth Competitive pay ranging from $25–$35 per hour Compensation is reflective of experience, certification status, and ability to independently manage an active caseload Flexible scheduling with the ability to build your own caseload Opportunity for professional growth within a supportive and expanding organization Why Join Texas Care Center Bammel At Texas Care Center, we are committed to delivering high‑quality, client‑centered care through compassion, accountability, and teamwork.
