Software Engineer - Data Insights

Salary: $106,100 - 176,800 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, along with typically 4+ years of relevant professional background at a P3 level.
• We look for 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Warehousing, or a similar technical area.
• We need strong SQL development expertise, including complex queries, transformations, joins, and performance tuning.
• We expect experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• We require experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse platform.
• We value understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data quality practices.
• We require experience using Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methods.
• We seek strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred experience includes Snowflake, Matillion, Oracle, Azure, and CDC technologies such as Qlik Replicate.
• Familiarity with Looker, Power BI, Tableau, dimensional modeling, analytics engineering, AI/ML technologies, and translating business needs into scalable data solutions is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are also preferred.

• We design, build, and support scalable data warehouse solutions and data pipelines using Snowflake and Matillion.
• We develop SQL-based transformations, data models, and integrations that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
• We integrate data from Oracle and other enterprise platforms while maintaining data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
• We optimize warehouse performance through query tuning, efficient architecture, and platform best practices.
• We troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, production, and warehouse issues to keep business-critical operations running.
• We support modern development practices, including source control, CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and production releases.
• We partner with engineers, analysts, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver documented data solutions and actionable insights.
