About The Position

We're looking for dependable, personable Bartenders who take pride in providing excellent service to our members and guests. In this role, you'll prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean and welcoming bar, and help create a positive experience for every guest.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and understands the level of service expected in a private club or upscale hospitality environment. Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we welcome candidates with a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Job purpose

To provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customers' needs and expectations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Plan and present bar menu.
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Working conditions

Work is primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.

Physical requirements

Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitors and develops subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.

Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 40 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 40 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.
