ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Family Therapist for an Outpatient program. The Family Therapist worksunder the supervision of the Program Director. This position is responsible for clinical servicesworking with individuals with mental health disorders and their families. In fulfilling theseduties, the incumbent performs the following duties independently: Documented skills, training, and/or education in family theory & techniques. Conduct family assessments. Provide in-home and in-office family (both individual and conjoint) therapy withhigh-risk clients and their families. Conduct a family education group. Attend and offer input at weekly case staff meetings and court. Required Qualifications, Skills, and Certifications: Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy,with current State of Washington credential. OPEN TO NEW GRADS. A valid, unencumbered Washington or Oregon drivers license is required. (This position requires using a personal vehicle to drive consumers in the community.) Must successfully pass a criminal history background check and be capable of obtaining jail clearance. Ability to work with diverse populations who vary significantly, including social strata, age, education, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation. Experience working with mental health disorders, dual-diagnosis, and family systems. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help consumers achieve their goals.
