Aircraft Component Technician

Our client, an established and expanding organization in the aviation industry, is seeking a Aircraft Component Technician to join their team. As a Aircraft Component Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the FAA 145 Repair Station. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization. Pay Range: $22 - $27 Shift: 630am - 3pm What's the Job? Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, and test aircraft components in accordance with approved manuals and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance. Utilize standard repair station equipment and tools to perform maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently. Process necessary paperwork promptly to ensure proper documentation and traceability of work performed. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clarity and quality in all tasks. What's Needed? At least 5-7 years of bench experience in disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing of aircraft components. Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electro‑mechanical aircraft components; A&P license desired but not required, with the ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate. Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and lead others when necessary. Own hand tools required for the position. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform bending and overhead lifting tasks. What's in it for me?
