Job Title A&P Aircraft Mechanic Location Pompano Beach, Florida — Daher’s Part 145 service center for TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft, providing maintenance, repair, inspection and technical support. The facility serves both individual owners and commercial operators, performing hands-on airframe, powerplant, propeller and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data. It also supports training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals. Primary Role And Responsibilities Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements. Removes and disassembles defective parts; assembles and installs replacement parts; and tests aircraft systems. Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting of airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved data from the manufacturer or FAA. Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish the job. Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals. Accurately records time worked on aircraft work orders. Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints. Demonstrates professional communication, a positive customer service attitude, and high quality standards. Maintains a clean and neat work area and supports facility housekeeping. Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required. Tows and parks aircraft. What You Need To Have FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate is required. 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on turboprop aircraft or equivalent. Experience on Turbo Prop aircraft preferred; ideally TBM or Kodiak. Experience troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting and performing maintenance on customer aircraft. History documenting work performed per manuals and regulations. Experience with mechanical and electrical removals and installations. Experience with engine removal and/or installation. Experience working on aircraft component repair. Must have own tools. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Basic computer skills. Information Related To The Position The compensation range starts at $38.00 per hour in base salary plus an annual target bonus. The offered salary is specific to each candidate’s skill level and experience.
