Staff AI Engineer

Salary: $160,000 - 240,000 per year Requirements:

• We want 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with a modern language such as Go, Python, or Elixir.
• We want at least 1+ years of experience deploying and maintaining AI agents in production that interact with tools, APIs, or real-world workflows.
• We want a strong track record of designing and supporting distributed or high-throughput systems.
• We value strong analytical skills and comfort operating in ambiguity within large-scale systems.
• We look for excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• We want someone willing to work across the full stack, from infrastructure to APIs to user-facing components, wherever the problem needs solving.

• Nice to have: practical experience designing evaluations for LLM behavior, including accuracy, safety, reliability, and cost monitoring.
• Nice to have: strong understanding of prompt design, context engineering, and guardrail strategies for dependable, interpretable agent behavior.
• Nice to have: experience with modern agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen, including multi-step reasoning, memory, and orchestration patterns.
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with fine-tuning and data curation to improve model performance.

• We build and scale our AI Agent platform, enabling high-volume, real-time conversational workflows with strong accuracy and low latency.
• We design and develop APIs, services, and infrastructure that support multi-turn, cross-channel customer interactions.
• We own the full product lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through deployment and ongoing reliability.
• We prototype quickly, iterate using live interaction data, and continuously improve system performance and user experience.
• We implement observability, monitoring, and operational best practices to keep production systems reliable, with a focus on agent accuracy and latency.
• We collaborate with engineers, product managers, and AI/ML scientists to deliver end-to-end features that drive meaningful business outcomes.
