- Prioritize workload in coordination with leadership to ensure an efficient and cost-effective preventative maintenance schedule.
- Independently execute lock installation projects and related facility maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cellular/Bluetooth devices, as well as customer concerns, using effective problem-solving skills.
- Respond to emergency service calls as directed, including occasional nights, weekends, or holidays, to support customer operations.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customer personnel, representing the company in a positive and service-oriented manner.
- Provide customer training on products, equipment, and basic system operation as needed.
- Assist at other customer locations or facilities as required based on business needs.
- Perform general preventive maintenance for water treatment systems and processes in accordance with established procedures and under appropriate supervision.
- Help replace consumables for reverse osmosis (RO) systems, activated carbon filters (ACF), ultraviolet (UV) systems, and other related equipment.
- Provide routine support and repeated tasks in collaboration with other technicians, following the requirement to never work alone or operate valves alone.
- Demonstrate a strong safety mindset by consistently following site PPE requirements, chemical awareness practices, and all safety procedures.
- Conduct basic lab or chemistry tests as needed, and accurately log and report data related to system performance and water quality.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds chest high, as well as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined or challenging environments.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions, including damp or dusty areas and extreme temperatures, while maintaining safe and effective work practices.
- Technical aptitude in plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and cellular/Bluetooth devices.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for communication, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while remaining accountable for results and quality of work.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–2 years of experience in a technical, maintenance, or field service role.
- Ability to receive and successfully pass site PPE training, chemical awareness training, and all required safety training.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on water treatment systems following established procedures.
- Capability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds chest high.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, damp or dusty areas, and extreme temperatures.
- Ability to wear and use a respirator under certain conditions, as required by the site.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends, and to respond to emergency service calls when needed.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interface positively and professionally with customers.
- Experience working independently in an industrial setting.
- Previous experience in water treatment or maintenance environments.
- Experience performing lab or chemistry tests and accurately logging and reporting data.
- Mechanical problem-solving experience, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general mechanical work.
- Prior exposure to preventive maintenance programs and structured maintenance schedules.
- Experience with documentation and reporting for service calls, expenses, and route completion.
- Comfort working as part of a field-based team and supporting other technicians at multiple locations.
