About your role:

Production Lead Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, managing shop floor personnel, and ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and within quality standards.  Build and test our patented decontamination equipment to sell to our clients.  Also monitor and track raw material inventory ensuring proper levels are maintained.  Typical workday in the office will be 8am-4pm which will usually consist of 70% of the time.

 

Decontamination Technician will assist DRS Labs colleagues in the field at customer sites providing decontamination services in a variety of support and lead roles.  Typical workdays in the field can range drastically from early morning starts to completing late into the night with some days averaging 12-14 hours which will usually consist of 30% of the time.

 

About your responsibilities:

As a Production Lead Supervisor, you will be building decontamination equipment in our production warehouse by following our established instructions to build and provide a final product to deliver to our clients.  Final product will be free of defects and look brand new for delivery.  After client use, equipment is sent back to DRS for preventive maintenance which will need service and repair.  Balancing between new work and existing work will take organization and prioritization.

 

As a Decontamination Technician, you will travel with colleagues to client sites to provide custom decontamination services.  DRS Labs has many methodologies at our disposal to meet client needs, some of which are labor intensive.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for short periods of time is a must. 

 

  About your experience:

Associate’s or Trade Degree (preferred) or High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

1-2 years of experience in the HVAC or Calibration/Certification in the Commercial Industry is preferred.

1-2 years of customer-facing experience

Strong knowledge in mechanical, electronic, and scientific disciplines

Ability to show technical aptitude and leadership qualities to other employees and customers

Excellent personal and customer verbal communication and technical writing skills

Ability to work independently without supervision

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Ability to be issued a Medical Card from a DOT physician after a physical

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Must be able to pass a drug and background check
