About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Program Officer (CPO) to serve as a senior executive leader, accountable for the overall performance, quality, compliance, sustainability, and growth of the organization's programs and services. The CPO will ensure that all programs, including residential, community, clinical, and self-directed, align with the mission, strategic priorities, and long-term vision. This role involves providing enterprise-level leadership, managing organizational risk, and driving programmatic innovation while maintaining regulatory excellence and fiscal discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for Board-level reporting, leading strategic planning, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. Applicants for the CPO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of professional experience, with at least 5 years' in senior executive or enterprise-level leadership within complex, multi-site human services or healthcare programs. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree is preferred. The role demands a leader with exceptional interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills, capable of building strong relationships with both internal and external partners. The CPO will be expected to have a proven track record in strategic planning, organizational growth, and talent development, as well as the ability to drive performance through data-informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with a strong focus on operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship, and will be adept at leading change initiatives and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
